The AWARE project in Balkh and Jawzjan provinces organized trade shows to promote the growth and development of women-led Agri-businesses and enhance women’s participation in the economy. These events showcased various products, facilitated marketing efforts, and established connections between producers and consumers.

In Balkh, 43 women-led businesses gathered that attracted more than 100 traders and visitors from across Mazar-e-Sharif city. This gathering significantly impacted businesses seeking to sell their products, providing them with a safe platform to showcase their offerings and establish valuable connections with traders and potential customers.

While in Jawzjan, 53 women participated in the trade show and displayed their products, which helped them establish market linkages and foster collaboration. It has also helped increase sales and revenues for these women-led Agro-businesses while also facilitating valuable connections and collaborations.
